What a joke. To put either of these in and leave The Stooges out is insaine. The Stooges (in my opion) are in the 5 rock bands to come out of America. "Raw Power" pound for pound might be the best rock 'n roll album ever. R n' R hall fame hasn't a clue. Maybe its because they never had the commrcial success of Metellica - (biggest sellouts of all time) So what do they do. thay reward Metallica and leave out the Stooges. Very un-rock.

Good question! I'm guessing that there is less weight on 'rock and roll' and more on the entertainer's influence on music in general. I suppose the term 'rock and roll hall of fame' is a bit of a misnomer now.
